INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Join a ranger and fellow visitors for an evening program showcasing the national lakeshore and its recreational opportunities on Saturday, May 27, 8:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Dunewood Campground Amphitheater. Parking available for non-campers who wish to attend the program.
The Dunewood Campground is located at 645 Broadway Avenue in Beverly Shores, Indiana. The campground is just south of the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and Broadway Avenue. The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is one of 417 units of the National Park System ranging from Yellowstone to the Statue of Liberty. Located in Northwest Indiana, the park includes 15 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and 15,000 acres of biodiverse beaches, woods, prairies, and marshes. Up to 2 million visitors come to the Indiana Dunes each year.
