Effective immediately, Louisiana Circle at Vicksburg National Military Park will be closed to all vehicle traffic for safety reasons. Louisiana Circle remains open to pedestrian traffic. Visitors are reminded to abide by local parking laws when accessing the detached park site.
Louisiana Circle is located along the Mississippi River on Clay Street, and is a satellite unit of Vicksburg National Military Park. An additional press release will announce the reopening of the road once repairs are complete.
