Join us at Effigy Mounds National Monument on June 17th, 2017 for another Junior Ranger Day. Children of all ages are invited to take a break from the Prairie du Chien Rendezvous and join us from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a variety of activities focused on the 1673 expedition of Marquette and Joliet and the origins of the historic fur trade. Two Ranger-guided hikes will leave from the visitor center at 1:00 p.m. for ages 4-8 and 9-13+. Additional hands-on activities and crafts will be available for kids of all ages. Children will also have an opportunity to complete the Junior Ranger Program. Already an Effigy Mounds Junior Ranger?
