Gettysburg's Music Muster is August 11 and 12

Experience the compelling music that revealed and expressed the feelings Americans held during the Civil War at Gettysburg National Military Park’s 22nd annual Gettysburg Music Muster on August 11 and 12.

Throughout both days, park visitors can hear ballads, folk songs, field music, and marches that were popular during the Civil War era. On Saturday, Civil War dance will also be featured by the Victorian Dance Ensemble.

Performers this year include: David Kincaid: The Irish Volunteer; Susquehanna Travellers; Hudson and Clark; Fort Delaware Cornet Band; Steve and Lisa Ball; Jeff Greenwalt; and the Libby Prison Minstrels.

Music will begin Friday, Aug. 11, at noon, under the front lawn tent at Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. Friday’s schedule is:
