WELLFLEET, Mass. - Paintings by Sandra L. Meyer will be featured at Cape Cod National Seashore’s Salt Pond Visitor Center in December. The exhibit is part of the seashore’s ongoing series - Perspectives: Seeing Cape Cod National Seashore through Art.

A native of New England, Sandra finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the environment and in the culture of Cape Cod. In this exhibit, One Painter’s View of the Outer Cape, she captures the memories and colors of summers spent on the Cape. Her annual travels to Europe and travels throughout the US have also provided inspiration and motivation to continually develop her craft. Sandra also enjoys portraiture, figures, still life, and she continues to experiment with a variety of subject matter and media.

Sandra has exhibited in Connecticut, and has been juried into several regional shows. She is a member of the West Hartford Art League, The Backroom Collective, and PAAM. She resides in both West Hartford, CT and North Eastham, MA.

A public reception for the Sandra will be held on Saturday, December 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the exhibit room at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.
