Section of Barker Dam Trail Closed for Maintenance

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Jan. 18, 2018. It is reproduced in full below.

A section of the popular Barker Dam Trail will be closed to visitors for trail maintenance from mid-January to mid-April. Due to the closure, visitors wanting to access the dam will be required to turn left at the trailhead and proceed clockwise on the trail. This closure is in effect, Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.
