Visitor Facilities at Cape Hatteras National Seashore Closed January 18 Due to Winter Storm

As a result of snow accumulation and hazardous conditions, National Park Service visitor facilities at Cape Hatteras National Seashore will be closed today.

Visitor facilities at the park are scheduled to return to normal operations tomorrow.

Beach access ramps will remain open to off-road vehicles and pedestrians at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, but some beach routes may be impassable during both high and low tide conditions.
