SPRINGDALE, UT - The park is closing the Angels Landing Trail at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in order to fix a broken post in a steep section of chain. The post will need a full 24 hours to cure. The trail should reopen after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28.

The West Rim Trail between the Grotto and Scout Lookout will also be closed while the post is being set to minimize the risk of rockfall hazard. It should reopen by late morning Tuesday.
