Kick Off National Park Week 2018 at Big South Fork NRRA

Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area will be celebrating National Park Week from Saturday, April 21-29. The week will kick off with free backcountry camping permits as well as free camping at Alum Ford Campground on Saturday, April 21.

The Big South Fork offers a diverse range of recreational opportunities for visitors to experience. From horseback riding to river rafting, there is so much to see of the immense and scenic terrain. Take time to enjoy everything your parks have to offer.

For the past 100 years, the mission statement of the National Park Service has been to “preserve unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the national park system for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations."
