San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is seeking enthusiastic, organized, people-oriented individuals for Visitor Services Volunteer positions. The volunteers will work alongside National Park Service rangers in the Visitor Center at Mission San Jose. Volunteers will have an opportunity to learn about the park’s Spanish Colonial Missions while meeting visitors from around the world. Duties include staffing the Visitor Center desk, providing information in person and by phone and roving outside in the mission compound to share information with park visitors. The Visitor Center is open 9:00 am-5:00 pm 7 days/week.
New Visitor Services Volunteers must attend one of two upcoming information sessions on Saturday, May 12 from 8:00 am-Noon or Saturday, May 19 from 8:00 am-Noon. Breakfast and refreshments will be provided at both sessions, courtesy of our non-profit friends group, Mission Heritage Partners. Pre-registration is required for the training sessions.
