Katmai Launches Centennial Webinar Series

Katmai National Park & Preserve, King Salmon, Alaska - Katmai National Park and Preserve continues its centennial celebration throughout the summer with a series of webinars on explore.org/bears.

These webinars -occurring approximately twice a month-will feature a variety of dynamic speakers deeply connected to Katmai’s wildlife, historic lodges, flora, fisheries, and Alaska Native cultures.

June 27 - “100 years of Administrative History at Katmai National Park and Preserve"

All presentations will occur at Brooks Camp with the opportunity to view live on explore.org/bears. Dates and times are subject to change. Further details and updates on centennial events are available online at https://go.usa.gov/xUa2s.

Park visitors, virtual and in-person, are invited to share their stories and adventures with Katmai through social media with the hashtag #katmai100. Photos, videos and other park inspired artwork will be reposted to the park’s official social media outlets.
