Hispanic Heritage Month Program

On Saturday September 29th join Park Rangers and the University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Hempstead Hall on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Hope, AR located at 2500 S. Main Street for a fun educational evening. The celebration will start at 5:30 pm in the Hempstead Hall Rotunda and will include traditional Hispanic refreshments.

There will be presentations and information from the National Park Service, the University of Hope-Texarkana Enrollment and Adult Education/English Second Language offices, National Apprenticeship Training Foundation, Arkadelphia Arkansas Department of Career Education, Pafford Medical Services, and South Arkansas Migrant Educational Cooperative.

The celebration will conclude with a free screening of "History is Made One Step at a Time"- The Cesar Chavez story in recognition of Cesar Chavez National Monument.
