Join local and park astronomers for the third annual Star Party in Mesa Verde National Park! Enjoy the wonders of the night sky at the Morefield Campground Amphitheater on Saturday, October 6th, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Our guest presenter for this stellar event will be Jennifer Frost, Park Ranger at Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. Highlights will include constellation identification, multicultural sky stories, and stunning telescope views of the many beautiful heavenly objects adorning the early fall night sky.
Things to Know:
• Dress warmly
• Bring a blanket to sit on
• No dogs, please
• Bring binoculars, if you have them
• Red lights ONLY after dark
• Morefield Campground is located four miles into the park.
