Denali Park Road Closed to Pedestrians and Bicycles at Mile 34 due to a Debris Slide

The Denali Park Road is closed at Igloo Campground (mile 34) due to a debris slide near mile 38. Travel beyond the campground is restricted for traffic, pedestrians and bicycles until further notice.

This section of the park road is same the location of the Igloo Debris Slide in 2013. Learn more about landslides and debris flows in Denali.

Visitors may still drive personal vehicles as far as the Teklanika rest area at mile 30 and bike or walk to the Igloo Campground.
