National Park Service selects operator for Rock Creek Park Horse Center

The National Park Service (NPS) has selected Guest Services, Inc. to provide equestrian and related services at the Rock Creek Park Horse Center in Washington, D.C., for the next 10 years.

Guest Services, Inc. has provided services at the Rock Creek Park Horse Center since January 1998. They will continue to provide private horse boarding, therapeutic riding programs, instructional camps, guided trail rides and riding lessons within Rock Creek Park.

The NPS solicited responses through a Request for Proposals on June 13, 2018. Responses were accepted through Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018. The current concession contract expires at the end of 2018, and the new 10-year contract will begin on Jan. 1, 2019.
