Opening Reception for BorDNAndo Exhibit

Superintendent F. Gus Sanchez is pleased to announce the opening reception for the BorDNAndo exhibit in Chamizal National Memorial’s Franklin G. Smith Gallery. The reception will take place from 6-8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The El Paso community and visitors are invited to browse the exhibit, enjoy live entertainment, and meet artist Mirna Ajo (MAJO).

BorDNAndo…Una mirada a la frontera a través del Arte, (BorDNAndo: A look at the border through Art) showcases sculptures that examine the sociological and spiritual dynamics of life along the El Paso-Juarez border. The exhibit will be open through April 15, 2019. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm and weekends by request between 10 am and 5 pm.
