Statement from Cape Hatteras NS, Fort Raleigh NHS, and Wright Brothers NMEM on the Resumption of Full Operations (Manteo)

With the enactment of the continuing resolution, staff at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, and Wright Brothers National Memorial will resume regular operations on Jan. 26, 2019.

“I wish to thank the local Outer Banks community for offering assistance to federal employees during the lapse in appropriations," said National Parks of Eastern North Carolina Superintendent David Hallac.

Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, and Wright Brothers National Memorial employees are happy to be back at work, serving the American people and welcoming visitors to their national parks.
