Guided Ski Program to be held at Voyageurs National Park

International Falls, MN: Join a ranger to explore the Echo Bay Ski Trail-all levels and abilities welcome! The program will begin with an introduction to the equipment and basic techniques of classical skiing. From there we will explore the first mile-long loop of the Echo Bay Trail. Skiers who want to challenge their abilities may continue to the more advanced outer loop.

Registration required; call the Rainy Lake Visitor Center at (218) 286-5258 to sign up for free. Bring your own skis or borrow some from the park; a limited amount of free equipment is available for checkout upon registration. Meet at the Echo Bay Trailhead (Kabetogama, MN) on Sunday, March 3, starting at 1 pm. Ages 6 and up. This event is part of the park’s 2019 Winter at Voyageurs Event Series.
