Visitor Fatality at South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon, AZ- At approximately 6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 26, National Park Service (NPS) rangers and special agents with the NPS Investigative Services Branch responded to a call reporting a visitor fatality near the South Rim in Grand Canyon National Park. The NPS and the Coconino County Medical Examiner are conducting an investigation.

The NPS will share additional information as it becomes available.
