Scranton, PA: Steamtown National Historic Site (NHS) will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. beginning Sunday, March 31, 2019.
These operating hours typically remain in effect until late December. However, visitors are encouraged to check the Steamtown NHS website for the latest information on hours and activities before coming to the site. We hope to begin our railroad operating season in late April. Again, please check the website for the latest updates.

The Fee Booth remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so America the Beautiful passes are not available those days. Also, the Fee Booth closes at 4:00 p.m. daily despite the park museum complex and grounds remaining open until 5:00 p.m.; please plan accordingly.

Located in downtown Scranton, Pa., Steamtown NHS is open daily from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily (reduced hours in winter). From I-81 follow exit 185 (Central Scranton Expressway); then follow the brown and white signs to the park entrance at Lackawanna Avenue and Cliff Street (GPS: N 41.41, W 75.67).
