Single Vehicle Motorcycle Accident Results in Air Evacuation

A male motorcycle operator was involved in a crash on Sunday at approximately 3:36 pm in the vicinity of the intersection of Park Boulevard and Pinto Basin Road at Joshua Tree National Park. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved and park rangers suspect speed may have contributed to a loss of control. Morongo Basin Ambulance transported the individual with serious injuries to a helicopter landing zone for transport to Desert Regional Trauma Center.
