LAPWAI, Idaho - Nez Perce National Historical Park announces an exciting summer speaker and demonstrator schedule! Come learn about Nez Perce culture at the following events:

June 1: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Moccasin Making Demonstration

June 15: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Moccasin Making Demonstration

June 22: 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Cultural Ecology Talk

July 6: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Drum Making Demonstration

July 13: 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Preserving the Language Talk

July 20: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Drum Making Demonstration

August 3: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Beadwork Demonstration

August 10: 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Butterfly Talk

August 10: 8 p.m.- 11p.m. Night Sky Program (Perseid)

August 17: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Beadwork Demonstration

The Spalding Visitor Center is 12 miles east of Lewiston at 39063 U.S. Highway 95. The Visitor Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Park Admission is free year round.
