Tuesday Tours

NEW this year! Come visit our four historic ranches with a guide! During the month of June we will be offering Tuesday Tours with staff and volunteers from 10am to 2pm. Our staff and volunteers will be on site to give you special insights into the people and stories of these historic ranches.

June 4 - Ewing-Snell Ranch with Ranger Christy Fleming

June 11 - Mason-Lovell Ranch with Ranger Amanda Allred

June 18 - Lockhart Ranch with Volunteer Lynn Richardson

June 25 - Hillsboro, MT (Cedarvale Dude Ranch) with Ranger Jen Prentiss

Campground Programs

What are the connections among John Wesley Powell, the town of Powell, WY and the area in general? Ranger Todd Johnson will share those connections at the Horseshoe Bend amphitheater at 7 PM on June 21.

Come join Ranger Jen Prentiss for an interactive game of “Guess Who?" on June 28 at the Horseshoe Bend amphitheater at 7PM. Learn about local animals who live in our canyon, feel real pelts, and even check out a few skulls.

Yoga on the Beach

Ever thought you would be doing Yoga on the beach while in Wyoming?

Join Suzi Shelhamer from Greybull Yoga Buffs for an hour of rejuvenation on the beach at Horseshoe Bend on Saturday, June 8 at 9am. Bring your own mat or beach towel, a hand towel, and a water bottle.

Feel renewed with yoga instructor Wendy Henderson from Greybull Recreation. She will be at Horseshoe Bend on Saturday, June 15 at 9am for an hour of balance, strength and flexibility.

Saturday Stroll

Join Ranger Jen on a stroll through the park on Saturday mornings. Stay tuned for specific times and locations.
