Morristown, NJ - Enjoy Father’s Day at Morristown National Historical Park (NHP) through a program of Elizabethan-era music. The free event will be at 3 pm on Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Morristown NHP's Museum, 30 Washington Place, Morristown, New Jersey.

Guitarist Stanley Alexandrdowicz with soprano Sungji Kim will premiere five Elizabethan songs composed by the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey's Maestro Robert W. Butts.

The songs are based on poems written by Queen Elizabeth I of England (1533 - 1603) and her circle. In addition to the five original songs composed by Maestro Robert W. Butts, Alexandrdowicz and Kim will perform selections from the Elizabethan period. The program is made possible by funds from Morris Arts, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

On special exhibit during the program will be a letter from the park’s archives signed by Elizabeth in 1576. Don’t miss this rare opportunity!
