Brecksville, Ohio - Members of the public and business community are invited to attend an open house to discuss a Commercial Services Strategy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park on Monday, July 15, 2019, from 6 - 8 p.m., at Happy Days Lodge, 500 W Streetsboro Road, Peninsula, OH 44264. Presentations will be at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
National Park Service staff, with the assistance of two consultants from the National Park Service Business Management Group, is developing a Commercial Services Strategy to review the types of services offered to park visitors. The Open House will serve as an informal discussion to gather community input on both existing and potential future services. Services to be discussed include, but are not limited to:
· Bike rentals
· Train rides
· Non-motorized boat rental on the Cuyahoga River
· Guided fishing
· Guided hiking
· Guided paddling
· Camping
· Horseback riding
· Snowshoeing
· Cross-country skiing
· Food
· Lodging
· Shuttle service
The Commercial Services Strategy will consider these services, as well as others the public may suggest.
