Free Federal Resume Writing Workshop on Friday, September 27

The National Park Service is sponsoring a free, one-day workshop to assist community members and displaced workers from the Navajo Generating Station learn about writing a federal resume that will get them recognized! The workshop is being held at the Coconino Community College, Page Campus, located at 475 S. Lake Powell Boulevard in Page Arizona (in the Computer Lab). Register now before spaces are gone by calling 928-608-6200 or visit the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area Headquarters building between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Park Headquarters building is located at 691 Scenic View Drive in Page, Arizona.

Five lessons will cover the following topics: federal resume writing in outline format; the online USAJOBS resume builder; knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs); keywords and announcement analysis; and core competencies and specialized experience. Please bring your resume to the workshop for personal coaching. Navajo speaking coaches will be present.
