Pipe Spring National Monument’s New Hours of Operation

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Sept. 24, 2019. It is reproduced in full below.

Beginning Sunday, October 13th Pipe Spring Monument’s hours of operation will be 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m., seven days a week. These hours will be in effect until mid-April.

“Late fall and early spring are great times to visit Pipe Spring National Monument because there aren’t the crowds we see other times of the year" said Patrick Driscoll, Lead Park Ranger in Interpretation at the monument. With the winter comes less visitors meaning less staff and reduced hours. Pipe Spring will still host tours of the fort every hour on the hour from 9 am-3 pm.

Pipe Spring National Monument is approximately 21 miles from Kanab, Utah, and 60 miles from St. George, Utah - just off of Arizona Hwy. 389 between the two communities.
