National Park Service Hosting Gates of the Arctic Subsistence Resource Commission Meeting in November

The National Park Service’s Gates of the Arctic National Park Subsistence Resource Commission is meeting in Fairbanks on Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14 at Sophie Station Hotel, Zach’s Boardroom. The hotel is located at 1717 University Avenue South, Fairbanks, Alaska. The meeting will begin at 8:30 am on Wednesday and adjourn for the day at 5:00 pm. It will resume at 8:30 am on Thursday, November 14 and conclude when business is completed.

Topics to be covered include reports from the nine-member commission on subsistence issues/concerns and updates from National Park Service staff on management issues, wildlife research, and monitoring activities.

This meeting is open to the public. Those who cannot attend in person can call in free of charge at 1-888-921-5898, using the participant code of 5499349.
