Storytellers, dancers, artwork, owls, food trucks, Pokémon GO, and more - oh my! Superintendent F. Gus Sanchez invites all to come celebrate, commemorate and connect to some of the many cultures of our borderland on Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entrance to Chamizal National Memorial and park-sponsored events is always FREE!
“We have an exciting and diverse range of cultural demonstrators, presenters, performers, exhibits and hands-on activities lined up for this year’s Festival," says Sanchez. Some of the day’s events include a sculpture scavenger hunt on the memorial grounds featuring artwork by UTEP students, several food trucks, Pokémon GO excursions, opportunities to make your own corn husk doll and pictographs, visit booths to learn about other area public lands and local burrowing owl ecology, see and purchase native artwork from multiple tribal groups, watch tribal and ballet folklorico dancers, and learn more about the history of how and why Chamizal National Memorial was established. There will be multiple outdoor performance and activity spaces around the memorial grounds.

The Cultural Center and Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A reminder for their safety, please leave your pets at home. Glass is not permitted on the grounds at any time. Please also watch for people crossing park roadways.
