Pipe Spring Switching to Charge Card Only Payments

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Dec. 6, 2019. It is reproduced in full below.

Pipe Spring National Monument, AZ - Beginning Jan. 2, 2020, payments for park entrance fees, and Interagency Pass purchases at Pipe Spring National Monument will be by credit and debit card only. Cash and check payments will no longer be accepted. Visitors can pay via the following charge cards: American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover and Diners International. As always, recreation passes will be honored for entrance fees.

Visitors needing to pay entrance fees or purchase an interagency annual pass with cash will have the option to do so at the Zion Forever Project bookstore located in the Visitor Center building at Pipe Spring.

Switching over to charge cards only greatly reduces the amount of liability, time and overhead needed to run park fee programs, allowing more of the fees collected to be used on projects and programs that enhance the visitor’s experience at Pipe Spring.
