Join Fort Pulaski for a special 1860s Holiday Event

SAVANNAH, GA - Travel back to 1863 for a holiday visit to Cockspur Island as Fort Pulaski National Monument presents special holiday programming on Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd. Experience the fort at its festively decorated best and listen to music, learn about Christmas during the Civil War, see cannon demonstrations, and participate in family activities for all ages.

Special musical entertainment will feature performances by Suzanne and Jim. A husband and wife duo who blend their harmonious vocals with astounding skills on acoustic instruments such as the 5 string banjo, guitar, flute, autoharp, courtship dulcimer--and maybe even a few surprises.
