Wolf Trap to host three job fairs this winter

VIENNA, Va.- Do you find yourself dreaming of sunnier weather and warmer nights? Start making your summer plans now! Attend a job fair at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts this winter and learn about the park’s many seasonal summer job opportunities. The park will host three job fairs in the Filene Center Musician’s Lounge (1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182) on the following days:

Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019, 12-4 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, 12-4 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, 4-8 p.m.

At the job fairs, you will have an opportunity to meet current National Park Service staff, speak with supervisors about different jobs and learn how to apply for a federal job using USAJOBS during hourly resume and application workshops. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts plans to fill seasonal positions for:

Custodial Maintenance

Filene Center Ushers

Visitor Service Assistants

Park Guides

"Each year, these recruitment events consistently attract enthusiastic, talented individuals. We are excited to engage with potential summer employees and introduce them to opportunities within the National Park Service," Superintendent George Liffert said.

Summer seasonal jobs typically begin in mid-May and end in early September.

Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is open to the public year-round and offers opportunities to walk, hike, picnic, and enjoy world-class performances in a serene, natural environment.
