Join representatives of the USPS and NPS to officially unveil the new stamp. For collectors, a special first-day cover with unique Big Bend postmark will be available. Light refreshments to be provided.

“We are honored that Big Bend has been selected, and look forward to working with the Postal Service in highlighting the beauty of this special place on the new stamp," said Superintendent Bob Krumenaker.

The stamp features art by Ohio native Dan Cosgrove, whose recent commissions also include work for Texas Monthly magazine, Netflix, Shell Oil, and the New York Times. Echoing the classic artwork of WPA-era National Park posters, the Big Bend stamp depicts the Rio Grande flowing between the sheer limestone cliffs of Santa Elena Canyon.
