Movies Shown at National Park Visitor Center

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a ranger and fellow visitors for a screening of a national park or outdoor-related documentary at Indiana Dunes National Park. The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center will have movie screenings on Sundays, Feb. 2, 9, 16, and 23, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. In addition, to the 1:00 pm movies, on Sunday, Feb. 16, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, watch the premiere of the new Paul Nelson film to learn how Octave Chanute’s glider experiments in the Indiana dunes helped the Wright Brothers achieve powered flight in 1903.

The scheduled 1:00 p.m. movie showings include February 2: Mammoth Cave: A Way to Wonder, February 9: Grand Canyon National Park, February 16: Shifting Sands: On the Path to Sustainability, and February 23: Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Black Hills.

The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is located at 1215 North State Road 49 in Porter, about one mile north of Interstate 94.
