Annual Big South Fork and Obed Parks Science Meeting Postponed

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on March 17, 2020. It is reproduced in full below.

In an abundance of caution regarding coronavirus, Big South Fork NRRA has postponed the annual Science Meeting scheduled for April 1, after taking into consideration nationally published information by the CDC, state and local health departments, and their recommendations to cancel public events.

“The top priority is the health and safety of park employees and visitors. We look forward to a resumption of normal park operations and recurring special events," said Superintendent Niki Stephanie Nicholas.

For more information and updates about NPS park and facility closures will be posted on www.nps.gov/coronavirus
