Missing Person Search at Cape Lookout National Seashore

HARKERS ISLAND, NC - - The National Park Service is conducting a missing person search within Cape Lookout National Seashore.

Enrique Roman-Martinez, 21, was last seen on May 22, 2020 at his campsite, near mile marker 46 on South Core Banks. Roman-Martinez was reported missing to park officials the next evening by friends when he was not at his camp all day. He was last seen wearing a blue pair of shorts.

Cape Lookout Rangers, the U.S. Coast Guard, and N.C. Marine Patrol are searching the area. We are asking anyone who may have seen Enrique Roman-Martinez to please contact the NPS at the Carteret County Dispatch office at (252) 726-1911. A missing person search is on-going, no further information is available at this time.
