Camp Owa Chita: Summer Camp Registration!

CHEYENNE, Oklahoma: Announcing Camp Owa Chita registration. Phase 3 of Oklahoma Governor’s “Open Up and Recover Safely" criteria are met. Camp Owa Chita is July 6-10, 2020. We invite students entering 1st through 6th grade to attend the park’s sixth annual summer day camp! The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday. Please plan for your campers to attend all five days.

There is no cost for your children to participate, but registration is required. Registration begins June 11, and forms can be picked up and submitted at the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site Visitor Center at 18555 Highway 47A, Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Registration forms are due no later than July 1. There is a limit of 24 children for the camp and registration is first come, first served. A waiting list will be instituted once camp is full. Parents will be notified if spots become available. To learn more about this free experience, call the visitor center at 580-497-2742.
