Wrangell-St. Elias Subsistence Resource Commission Announces October 5-6 Meeting by Teleconference

COPPER CENTER, AK - The Wrangell-St. Elias National Park Subsistence Resource Commission will meet by teleconference on Monday, October 5, and Tuesday, October 6, 2020, to consider a range of issues related to subsistence hunting and fishing in the park.

Commission business will include an opportunity to comment on proposals to change federal subsistence fisheries regulations. The meeting is open to the public, and public testimony opportunities are provided. Members of the public are encouraged to participate. Written comments may also be submitted through the park subsistence coordinator at WRST_subsistence@nps.gov by Wednesday, Sept. 30, for presentation at the meeting.

On October 5, the meeting will start at 1 PM and recess for the day at 5 PM. On October 6, the meeting will start at 9 AM and continue until business is completed. (Note that this is the alternate meeting date identified in the Federal Register notice for the meeting and a later start time than originally announced.)
