Cane River Creole Hurricane Delta Closure

In an effort to ensure the safety and protection of the public, park staff, resources, and facilities, Cane River Creole National Historical Park will close Friday, October 9 based on the impending threat of Hurricane Delta. The closure is expected to last until the storm safely passes.

The National Park Service staff will be monitoring ongoing developments with Hurricane Delta and will post updates as needed on Facebook. For more storm information visit the National Hurricane Center and the NPS Hurricane and Severe Weather Response.
