Join a Virtual Writing Marathon hosted by Weir Farm National Historic Site, the Connecticut Writing Project, and Fairfield University on the National Day on Writing, Oct. 20, 2020. Everyone is invited to this Facebook LIVE event and encouraged to share their writing throughout the day!
Join us for a Facebook Premiere Event as we kick off our Writing Marathon with a writing prompt to spark your creativity presented by Park Ranger Kristin Lessard. Then, find a place to write (outdoors if possible), let your creativity flow, and come back to share your writing. You can either respond in the comments on Weir Farm's Facebook post or make your own social media post using hashtag #writeweirfarm. You can connect to the National Day on Writing and National Write Out events as well by using hashtags: #whyiwrite and #writeout.
Wherever you are, be a writer!
