FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA- The Flagstaff Area National Monuments (Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater Volcano, and Wupatki) have the following operating hours for the remainder of 2020 through New Year’s Day 2021.Current daily operating hours (other than holidays listed below)
* Walnut Canyon: 9am-4:30pm, access to the Island Trail ends at 3:30pm
* Sunset Crater Volcano: Visitor Center 9am-4:30pm, Park Road 545 and trails open daily
* Wupatki: Visitor Center 9am-4:30pm, Park Road 545 open daily, trails open dawn to dusk
Thanksgiving Day (Thursday November 26)
* Walnut Canyon: 9am-1pm (access to the Island Trail ends at 12pm)
* Sunset Crater Volcano: Visitor Center 9am-1pm, Park Road 545 and trails open daily
* Wupatki: Visitor Center 9am-1pm, park Road 545 open daily, trails open dawn to dusk
Christmas Day (Friday December 25) and New Years Day (Friday January 1)
* Walnut Canyon: closed
* Sunset Crater Volcano: Visitor Center closed, Park Road 545 and trails open daily
* Wupatki: Visitor Center closed, park Road 545 open 24 daily, trails open dawn to dusk
