Body Located In Zion National Park During Search

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Feb. 19, 2021. It is reproduced in full below.

Springdale, Utah - Park rangers located a body this afternoon, Friday, Feb. 19, while searching for an overdue male hiker from Thursday, February 18. The body, also a male, was located below the Angels Landing hiking route. The identity of the man has not yet been confirmed.
