Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to Host Virtual Battle Anniversary CommemorationKENNESAW, GA- Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park will virtually commemorate its Battle Anniversary this weekend, June 26 -27. Pre-recorded videos will be offered every hour this weekend, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m, on the park’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.The park offers Battle Anniversary programs as a way to remember multiple facets of the story of Civil War era Kennesaw Mountain. Program topics include artillery and infantry demonstrations, soldier life, children’s activities, and more. Virtual presentations are designed to highlight specific areas in the park and feature pre-recorded videos. This year’s range of programs follows the park’s driving tour; while programs are offered virtually with no ranger at any of the highlighted locations, visitors are encouraged to visit the various park sites on their own.
