Bear Creek Fire: Seeking Information, Person of Interest

US Park Rangers are investigating the Bear Creek Fire burning in the Chilliwack drainage. Rangers are looking to speak with a hiker that reportedly accessed the Hannegan Pass Trailhead area on a bicycle (see attached photo) on or about July 26th, 2021. The hiker of interest has been described as a white male 30 to 35 years of age, 5’7" to 5’9" in height, short dark hair (balding) and a stubby beard. Information from visitors is often very helpful to investigators. If you may have seen the hiker of interest, if you were in the area of Hannegan Pass Trail and/or the Cooper Ridge or Chilliwack trails between July 26th and July 29th, or if you have information that could help, contact us:
