US Park Rangers are investigating the Bear Creek Fire burning in the Chilliwack drainage. Rangers are looking to speak with a hiker that reportedly accessed the Hannegan Pass Trailhead area on a bicycle (see attached photo) on or about July 26th, 2021. The hiker of interest has been described as a white male 30 to 35 years of age, 5’7" to 5’9" in height, short dark hair (balding) and a stubby beard. Information from visitors is often very helpful to investigators.
