Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area will host the seventh annual Big South Fork Photo Contest reception on Friday, September 3 in the lawn area next to Bandy Creek Visitor Center, located at 151 Stable Road, Oneida.
Festivities will begin at 5:00 PM (ET), and include light refreshments, live music and a display of photographs from the photography contest. During the evening, the contest’s winning entries will be revealed in seven categories:
1. Youth
2. Dark Skies
3. Recreation
4. Kentucky Landscapes
5. Tennessee Landscapes
6. Flora & Fauna
7. Human History
The winning entries have been judged on technical excellence, originality, creativity, visual impact, and artistic merit. There will also be a People’s Choice award for the photograph that gets the most votes that evening.
