Expect Road Closures in Saguaro National Park (West) on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for Film Production

A film permit has been issued for Wednesday, October 13 to film on roadways between Saguaro National Park (west) and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. The filming will cause road closures and parking restrictions along North Kinney Road, West McCain Loop, and West Mile Wide Road. The filming will take place from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.. The project will involve precision driving and sections of the roadways will be secured for the safety of the public.

Visitors looking to access the Red Hills Visitor Center at Saguaro National Park please use N. Sandario Road to Kinney Road. Access to the Arizona Desert Museum will only be available from Gates Pass Road or S. Kinney Road. The public should be aware that this area will completely closed off during the time of setup and filming.

Please be aware that you may be turned away at the road closure until 7pm. This closure notice includes all traffic, including pedestrians and bicyclists.
