Winter Season Changes at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area 2021

GLEN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, Arizona/Utah - Chill is in the air and visitors are advised that annual park-wide winter season changes in operations will occur on Nov. 15 in the following areas:

Lees Ferry: The fish cleaning station, and upper and lower campground restrooms will close. The campground’s Recreational Vehicle (RV) pumpout will remain open but flushing water will be closed.

Wahweap: The fish cleaning station, and restrooms at Swim Beach and the picnic grounds will close.

Antelope Point: The microdump and vault toilet will close.

Bullfrog: The boat ramp pumpout, fish cleaning station, and picnic area restrooms will close for the season.

Halls Crossing: The boat ramp comfort station will close.

In addition, some National Park Service and concessioner-operated facilities will reduce hours of operation during the winter months.
