New Vault Toilets Replaced & Installed in Several Locations Throughout Obed Wild & Scenic River

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Feb. 11. It is reproduced in full below.

Obed Wild & Scenic River recently completed the installation of four new concrete vault toilet buildings at Barnett Bridge, Jett Bridge, Lily Bridge, and Nemo Day Use Area. All locations are within the park.

The new toilets require a fraction of the maintenance compared to the outdated +30-year-old chemical toilets that were replaced, and better serve the visitor.
