Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area will observe National Park Week from Saturday, April 16-24. The week will kick off with free backcountry camping permits as well as free camping at Alum Ford Campground on Saturday, April 16.
The focus of this year’s National Park Week is to “sPark Connections." Each day has a theme to celebrate:

2. Sunday April 17 -- sPark Creativity
3. Monday, April 18 -- sPark Collaboration
4. Tuesday, April 19 -- sPark Innovation
5. Wednesday, April 20 -- sPark Opportunities
6. Thursday, April 21 -- sPark Preservation
7. Friday, April 22 -- sPark Action
8. Saturday, April 23 -- sPark Curiosity
9. Sunday, April 24 -- sPark Memories
