Gunnison, Colo. - The Lake Fork boat ramp will open for the season on Saturday May 28, 2022. It will be open daily from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm, along with the Elk Creek and Iola boat launch ramps. The Stevens Creek and Ponderosa boat launch ramps are currently closed. Aquatic invasive inspections are required for motorized and trailered watercraft at the boat ramps.
The three reservoirs of Curecanti National Recreation area, Crystal, Morrow Point, and Blue Mesa are open for recreational opportunities for the summer season. The Elk Creek Marina is closed for the 2022 summer season and the status of the Lake Fork Marina is currently being evaluated.
